All teams are advised to browse this hub to complement their teams with co-founders. One of our judging criteria will be the breadth of expertise within your team.

I have a background in chemistry and at the moment I am doing aPhD in molecular biology. I have worked in the synthesis and screening of small compounds to find new targets as well as in developing biomaterials for tissue regeneration. Additionally, I did an internship in an international company and I have some experience in project management and business.

I am a multidisciplinary research student with excellent knowledge in point-of-care, microfluidic, molecular (DNA) diagnostic device development. Possesses unique knowledge gained through interdisciplinary projects (academic and industrial collaborations) in sample preparation, nucleic acid assay development and product design. In 2012, I began my PhD at Brunel University within a large interdisciplinary group. My research focuses on the development of an integrated molecular diagnostic device for Point-of-Care testing in resource-limited settings.

I'm experienced in the development of novel applications using computational biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, and genomic sequencing approaches, most recently as the Head of Experimental Genomics at Warp Drive Bio and currently as a member of the Genetics department and the Currie Lab at the University of Wisconsin. I have specific expertise and interest in translational microbial science, especially natural products biosynthesis, drug discovery, chemical ecology, and molecular engineering.

I am currently working within the Advisory division in Science Group(formerly Sagentia Group) in Cambridge and previously an IP Consultancy in Cambridge. During both roles I have undertaken IP Landscapes, market assessment, technology scouting, freedom to operate searches and advised on investments and future technology research strategies. The client I have work with include start-up, big pharma, multinational consumer goods and national innovation centres, along with chemical, and mechanical projects.
